Meet Spike! Our newly named Safety Dog.
Our first passenger car has been purchased – The Lake Erie. It will soon be on its way to the Cudworth Sub.
The Safety Train was created to provide education about railway safety. We are looking forward to instructing the public on railway safety with the many different educational tools available to us.
The first producer cars at Cudworth for the shipping season have been loaded. Recently we were able to mark the repair work of 112 CN Rail cars as completed. Now we are beginning to repair of 56 G3 Canada rail cars.
Storage cars have been reduced to 424 in the month of October. We expect the number to decline another 160 rail cars for November.
Question of the Month: What was the name of the famous luxury train of the 1930, 1940, and 1950's?
Answer: "The Chief" by the Santa Fe. It was regularly scheduled to run from Los Angeles to Chicago.
Later "Super Chief" was added to the fleet, becoming the standard for the Santa Fe.
